Deployment Services
SHI provides support to our customers for the entire lifecycle of desktop assets. Whether dealing with configuration services, desktop technical support, or more involved hardware modifications incorporating installations, moves, adds, and changes, up to and including the redeployment or disposition of your technology assets; our flexible delivery model focuses on the unique needs of each client. SHI's support spans multiple environments, from local dispatch within campus settings, to remote dispatch for scattered site resources, to combinations of both. In short, your needs are our goals.

    JIT Inventory Management
    Just in Time (JIT) Inventory Management consists of SHI housing the products for your roll-out project to ensure that for all stages of the timeline the necessary items are available and ready to be deployed at a moments notice. We work with each customer to develop a plan that is customized to their specific project needs and ensures a successful implementation.

    Configuration
    With over 200 network attached build stations, and 40 stand alone work stations, the configuration center is able to build and ship up to 1200 units in a 12 hour time period. Our services include System Configuration, Image Load, Asset Tag and Serial Number Capture, along with Server Builds to complete Server Rack and Stack solutions.

    Image Management Services (Build/Test/Certify)
    SHI will load your custom image to desktops, laptops and servers. We provide for testing of images with regard to system and application functionality, file and directory structure, as well as conflict resolution. All images are managed on site at SHI, with revisions and updates implemented at the client's request. All images are housed on both a secure, dedicated server and some form of back-up media for fault tolerance.

    Server Rack and Stack
    SHI ships to the customer a fully configured and wired rack ready to plug in upon receipt at the customers site. Our Server configuration specialists will configure each server and install them into the rack of your choice along with any other equipment that is necessary for your environment such as UPS units, Monitor and Keyboard trays, KVM Switches and a host of other options. We install cable management solutions as well as run the cables and label them to your specifications. This ensures that all the equipment will perform at 100% when it arrives at a customer site. Every server is labeled with an asset tag and a custom placard identifying the serial number of the server in the rack, and then provided with Rack reports identifying each server, by serial number and configuration that resides in each asset tagged and serialized rack.

    Physical and/or Electronic Asset Tagging
    Asset tags may be provided by the client or a format specification may be given to SHI for in house development or procurement through a third party vendor. Any customer specific information that needs to be captured into an asset tag can be arranged per the customer's request.

    Premise Installation and De-Installation Services
    SHI provides these services around technology procurement for common infrastructure components such as cabling, router and server installations to user-based equipment like workstations, POS devices, kiosks and printers.

Asset and Information Management (AIM Services)
Through the use of our Asset and Information Management (AIM) Services, SHI provides immediate access to accurate and current hardware and software inventory data. By capturing all of the company's PC software and hardware info, including systems not on the LAN or connected to the Internet, we offer the industry's most comprehensive Windows MS inventory. At the same time, SHI's innovative technology collects, stores, reports and analyzes PC inventory data at a rate of over 50,000 PCs per hour. Analysis engines then translate the inventory results in to meaningful reports.

    Asset Disposition
    Many of your assets that are no longer useful to your organization still have value in the market. SHI offers a complete range of services designed to create a cost effective and efficient asset re-deployment and disposal program for your company. SHI's solution for the testing/auditing, fair market valuation, and if necessary proper disposal includes the many options which can be customized to meet your specific needs while recovering as much value as possible from your retired assets.
